Being a German and Slovenian company, we at Mega-Metal d.o.o. had the honor to host a special guest: His Excellency Mr. Adrian Pollmann, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Slovenia. As in Germany, SMEs are very important for the economy in Slovenia. We had an exciting discussion about the importance of the vocational training for the industrial sector. We both shared our respective experiences for both countries in how to increase the attractiveness of the industry for young people. The main point of the discussion was how to better connect the Slovenian educational sector directly with our industry and how Germany with its »duales System« could be an example.
